Hospitals United Bristol Healthcare Trust - Bristol Royal Infirmary
Bristol Royal Infirmary - has eight main theatres, covering elective and emergency general, vascular, orthopaedic, cardiac, thoracic, and gastrointestinal surgery. There is a Day Care Unit with two theatres as well as busy Accident and Emergency Department and two Intensive Care Units (general and cardiac). Anaesthesia is provided for radiology procedures, CT and MRI scanning. The Chronic Pain Clinic is expanding with recent Consultant appointments.
