About the School Hospitals United Bristol Healthcare Trust - St Michael's Hospital

St Michael’s Hospital - has five theatres for obstetrics, gynaecology and ENT work, and will shortly be taking on the breast surgery service. The labour ward sees 4500 deliveries a year, has a 30% epidural rate and is a tertiary referral centre for complex maternal and neonatal cases.  The Regional Special Care Baby Unit is situated here and takes babies for neonatal surgery.
